Sour Cherry Strudel With Chocolate Dip

- STRUDEL
- 2 Cup sour cherry, pitted and canned
- 8 Piece filo sheets
- 2 Table spoon (tbsp) sugar
- 3 Table spoon (tbsp) bread crumbs
- 2 Decilitre (dl) frying oil
- CHOCOLATE DIP
- 4 Decilitre (dl) sour cherry juice from the can
- 1 Piece chocolate pudding powder
- 1 Dekagram (dkg) butter

SOUR CHERRY STRUDEL
The flavour of sour cherry and sweet chocolate is the best pair, try this sturdel recipe and you will get a special polular. Drain the pitted cherry and put into a medium size bowl. Mix with sugar and breadcrumb. Lay out two sheets of filo pastry, overlapping the long edges slightly, and brush with a thin layer of oil. Place the cherries in a row, leaving a clear rim along one side. Roll the strudel up to enclose the cherries, and fold the ends under. Place strudel on the parchment paper covered baking tray. Bake the strudel in the centre of the oven for 15-20 mins or until the pastry is crisp and the cherries are tender in preheated oven on 180 C degree. Remove strudel from the oven, slice diagonally and dredge with icing sugar. Serve warm with chocolate dip.
CHOCOLATE DIP
Mix evenly the sour cherry juice and pudding powder add sugar, bring to the boil and cook until thickens. Than add the butter and stir until soft and lukewarm. Serve a table spoon chocolate dip with 2 slices of strudel.
